Course
"CUDA Programming Model"
All interested students are invited to this course.
In this course you learn modern multicore architecture,
models of parallel programming and the basic principles lying
at the base of realisation of effective parallel algorithms on the Graphics
Processor Units. You also will get acquainted with realisations
of typical algorithms and the problems arising in the Signal processing,
Computing Geometry, Computer Graphics, Enciphering, Database Processing,
Mathematical Modelling and Fluid Dynamics.

- Review of GPUs: architecture and features.
- Introduction to the CUDA.
- CUDA threads.
- CUDA memory.
- Floating point computing.
- Concepts of parallel programming.
- Digital signal processing.
- Computational geometry.
- Rendering.
- Solving the differential equations.
- Databases.
- Enciphering on GPU.
- Optimization of CUDA applications.
Lectures will be held at the faculty. All lectures are spent
on Thursdays at 15:30. The first lecture: March, 4th, 2010 in 108B.
Students of 1-5 years are invited.
